Sony make.believe: Vote for Your Favorites!

Sony’s widely publicised make.believe campaign has reached its voting stage. From now to 14 April, you can vote for your favourite dream in the Dot Your Dream contest and your favourite photograph in the Dot Your Moment photo contest. The winners would be decided by your votes and see their dreams fulfilled by Sony!

The voting process is pretty simple and I have done it in 3 steps:

  1. First you choose your favourite dream amongst the 8 finalists.
  2. Then you pick your favourite photograph in the photo contest.
  3. Finally you get to choose your prize. Yes, voters get to win something too!

These are my picks:

Selecting my favourite dream is easy. My vote automatically goes to the one that is most adventurous and least self-serving. (An internship? A honeymoon vacation, really?) I pick Roger, whose dream is to “document the most exotic places on earth such as Easter Island and Antarctica and record conversations with the locals”. Now, THAT’s what I’m talking about!

As for the photo contest, the choice gets tougher. Initially I wanted to vote for Freedom (currently the piece garnering the most votes) because it invokes a sense of imagination. In the end I choose Die Hard Fan. As someone who watches the S League and national football matches live from the stadiums every week, I know all about the abysmal match attendances. So if someone goes and captures a moment there on film, I’d like to think that this is a true “die hard fan” who deserves to win a trip to the World Cup 2010 in South Africa.

That’s my wish too, so that’s the prize I picked. What about you?
