Very Worst Experience in my life at Anandha Bhavan, Serangoon Road (Upstair). Please don’t have your food with your family in this Hotel. I’m sharing Some bad experience in Anandha Bhavan, Need to queue in for bill payment & order, need to take water in a Dirty area, order will come one by one with 5 to 10mins interval(for 3items it takes 20mins approx).Even of there is not crowded these guys are not helping to serve the customer. For every order you need to go and pickup with your wet hand. There will be no smiling face. Even they are not interested about our visit. Don’t take any parcel from these hotel. These begger fellows only expect our money and don’t know how to server the customer. py: You are right! From now on, whenever I visit an eatery that has some history, I would make sure to find out more from the owners and the staff. A food review with some cultural/historic elements in it would make an interesting read for yesterday.sg readers. I don’t think anyone has done it before, but I could be wrong.

Actually, if you can slant your food reviews posts to have elements of heritage and some history in them. I don’t see why they can’t be posted on Yesterday.sg

I have seen a columnist write about the history behind some of the famous Singapore dishes (e.g. curry fish head) on one of the Zaobao’s Sunday’s column, and I think it will make a good post for Yesterday.sg. py: This is the third restaurant in Little India that I have reviewed. All 3 were good. I’m just lucky! Hmm… I wonder if Walter would accept food reviews for yesterday.sg? This is, after all, the oldest vegetarian restaurant in Singapore.

you should try something called rasa masala thosai (i think), if you are into spicier stuff. it’s filled with chilli padi and other stuff, upping the *oomph* in the spicy chapter. i haven’t been to little india for a long time, thanks for the reminder :) View all comments by anivyl
