Asian Aerospace 2006

i was at the asian aerospace exhibition over the weekend. boy, was the weather hot! funny how it turns sunny only on the days that i’m not free to go tanning. anyway to cut the long story short, we were there late and didn’t manage to see the big aircraft.

Asian Aerospace 2006

i was really looking forward to seeing the new boeing airbus a380, which is the biggest passenger aircraft in the world. some time back in school, i had done a case study on the a380 and thought it would be cool to see it in real life.

Asian Aerospace 2006

anyway, the organisers indicated on the ticket that the exhibition would be open until 5:30pm. but what they didn’t indicate was that the last timing visitors could get to see the big aircraft was actually 4:30pm. the big aircraft exhibits were not part of the usual exhibition area and visitors had to take another bus to go see them, with the last bus leaving at 4:30pm.

Asian Aerospace 2006

i felt quite cheated. the big aircraft were the main draw of the entire exhibition, and to some visitors, that might have been the only reason they went for the exhibition. people paid 22 bucks for their admission. it’s only fair that the organisers took effort to make sure they knew that they had to be there before 4:30pm to see the big aircraft.

so in the end we got to see only the smaller aircraft and helicopters. what a bummer! well, the only consolation we had was that we had bought our tickets at half price.

    1. Greetings,

This is your fellow contender from Blogfest. One does believe your site is perhaps one of the noteworthy ones that really deserve a Creative label. I do not know how the rest got in. Good luck with the competition!
