Can You Spot the 75 Bands?

virgin digital created this awesome digital composite image some time back. there are 75 bands hidden in there. can you spot all of them? this image has been floating around the internet for a long time. but here it is in case you haven’t seen it before. be sure to enlarge and view it in full screen!

Spot the 75 bands

what a clever little piece of marketing! i couldn’t keep my eyes off it the first time i got hold of this music brainteaser. it’s guaranteed to distract you from work so do this in your spare time! do proceed with caution too — it’s super addictive!

my friend fernando sent this image to me (thanks dude!). i ended up spending a few days poring over it and got around two thirds of the bands. then i promptly forgot about checking out the answers until now. yes, i have the answers. are you ready for them?

here they are. but promise me you would spend some time on the image before taking a lookie will ya? (the answers show just 70 bands because it is a cropped image.)

    1. Interesting idea. Reminds me of the “Where’s Wally” series of books which my nieces currently read to try to locate Wally (not Walter mind you). I think this gives me an idea for a game - where’s the national treasure? You do need a good artist and designer though to render it beautifully and I wonder if we can find such talents here in Singapore. View all comments by Walter

    4. Wow! you must have been poking through some dusty drawers, cos i was convinced you had forgotten all about this :D How cool! The movies version you sent me still has me totally confused… some are so literal its absurd, but there are some pretty vague ones too hehe. Good to see you getting back into the swing of posting. As always, keep us entertained :) cheers mate View all comments by Fernando

    5. There is yet another movie composite image floating around! Not from Virgin, and it has 100 hidden movies! And I find that I totally suck at it! View all comments by Veron
