seriously, what kind of a sick bastard would do something like that? people kill one another all the time, out of rage, jealousy, for money, love, or what have you. but to dismember an innocent young kitten? [...]

i was at sentosa over the weekend and managed to catch the bird show quite by chance. from a distance away i kept hearing this repeated sound made by some creature. when i got closer, i realised it was coming from the parrot enclosure. one very mischievous greenwing macaw by the name of rocky was [...]

kitty is doing great and her eyes are open! i’ve been letting her crawl around the house a bit so that she may learn to walk soon. but she’s so tiny that she gets lost all the time. so i let her wear a bell and it doesn’t seem to bother her at all.

yeah all along i’ve been referring to the baby kitty as a “he”, until i discovered six tiny nipples on her belly. so cute! so it’s official then. baby kitty is a girl!
i have had to bathe her quite a lot. cats don’t normally like to get wet, but i’m thinking if they are used [...]

i just fed the little baby, and he drank all his milk! that’s a first! usually he just cries nonstop and most of the milk just drips away. now i think he’s finally getting the hang of sucking and drinking from the dropper. i’m so proud of him! i even spot a little bulging milk [...]

i’m exhausted!
can’t get much sleep at all because i have to watch the baby constantly. and it gets so difficult to feed him. he cries and struggles nonstop during feeding and it’s hard getting him to actually drink the milk. the dropper is too big for his tiny mouth and his mouth rarely opens so [...]

i didn’t get to sleep much last night. but the little baby sure did. i was quite worried he wouldn’t survive the night because he didn’t have anything to drink. early this morning i called up SPCA for advice and they said i could feed him either goat’s milk or carnation milk if i didn’t [...]

on my way home at about 10pm, i discovered a cardboard box at my void deck. it had a tiny kitten sleeping within! he couldn’t have been more than 3 or 4 days old as his eyes weren’t open and his umbilical cord was still visible.
