Christmas Tree of the Day #7

i wouldn’t consider this to be a very christmasy christmas tree. it doesn’t even look particularly beautiful. but this tree, spotted at the national museum, scores high points for being one of the most unique christmas trees ever!

Christmas Tree at the National Museum

say, doesn’t this tree look like it’s made out of ginseng?

it is relatively small and nondescript. i walked right past it the first time without even noticing it was there! i’m glad i didn’t miss it the second time, although i neglected to check out its label. if anyone is heading to the national museum anytime soon, please read the label for me! i’m really curious to find out more about this tree and what material it is made of.

umm, it is a christmas tree right? because the more i look at it, the more it doesn’t look like one. what a strange-looking little guy!

    2. Its possibly the most remarkable tree i have seen this year, with some pretty unusual raw materials to boot, and that first time I saw it, i had no real idea what on Earth it was.
According to my mate Dan, it reminds him of something else altogether… and it aint too christmassy

Perhaps its an orchid xmas tree…or plant..
Unique n very singapore (coz of the sprouting orchid) The Ginseng look-a-like might just be the base for the orchid to grow…

    4. Its look like ginseng, imagine if it was a ginseng Christmas tree, you could take whole year to finish it. Or maybe most expensive Christmas tree for home. hehe.. View all comments by bizolink

    5. Hey - that is a really cool looking tree! What a wonderful change it makes to see something refreshingly different - and hopefully might give people incentive to save some trees too! View all comments by Minkich
