Oh! Thanks for clearing that up! I need to edit my remark then. It should be "none of the museums i have visited in singapore has the same thing". I really need to try out that museum hunt thing!

none of the museums in singapore has the same thing

That's not true!

The Changi Museum has had audio-guides for the longest time. Currently, they're having a special hunt, where you use the headset to look for clues and redeem museum merchandise. Do try it out. :)

Also, Singapore Art Museum once used iPods to give commentaries for their permanent galleries.

And now there's the e-Museum Guide for NHB museums.

To py: Yes the museums were pretty sweet and I had a great time at both. The JFK museum offered a huge chunk of history from which I gained insight. The art museum was simply wonderful throughout. I found the visits to both museums extremely enriching and rewarding.

Hey Ed***, I know I made my trip sound like a vacation with all the food and stuff, but it was really mostly about work! I would love to make a trip back there for a holiday. Dallas sure was fun, and I'll bet the other cities in Texas would be just as awesome too!

HI Veron, thanks for sharing about your trip here. The museums there seem interesting to visit.

Yup uzyn this was definitely the best day of the trip. Other days had been mainly about food and shopping (those were awesome though) but I'm glad I finally got to do the touristy stuff.

This must be the highlight of your US trip I believe. At least this is my favourite post among others, gives me a nice wild west texas feeling.
