I Heart U (Remix)

it’s been a long time since i last posted my handmade jewelry here. don’t worry i’m still making them! it’s just that with the holiday season, i have my hands full with filling orders. new designs would come out, but it would be later.

some of my more popular pieces are the tri-layer asymmetrical charm necklaces such as “my magical garden” and “i heart u”. in those necklaces, i have always used the gold, dark copper and black color combination for the chains. but this time i played around with something new, with a refreshing combination of rose gold, regular gold and silver.

the new color combination, or the remix version as i like to call it, gives this piece a younger and more casual look. i used a smaller charm, in the form of a heart-shaped locket with an engraved design. there’s also a little vintage gold key accompanying it! another highlight is the dangling chain of stars with a purple swarovski pearl at the end.

once again, the length of this piece is adjustable. in keeping with the hearts theme, i made sure there’s an abundance of hearts on this necklace. besides the gold heart-shaped locket, there’s also a little silver heart that dangles below it, as well as a little gold heart that is all the way at the back of the necklace near the clasp. so the owner can look pretty not just from the front, but from the back as well!

come to think of it, this piece would look nice even if it wasn’t asymmetrical. isn’t that right?
