I Heart U

it seems that “my magical garden” series of charm necklaces is quite popular! there have been several requests for this. today i made one for a blog reader who wanted a piece for his wife! there sure are many sweet husbands and boyfriends out there!

I Heart U

his wife loves hearts, so i made sure to incorporate that into the necklace. the centerpiece is a gold heart locket that opens up where you can put a little photograph in there. instead of a sparkling diamante stud as in my magical garden series, he requested for something purple and so i dangled a purple swarovski pearl at the end of the string of tiny gold stars.

this tri-layer necklace has an extension piece and is therefore adjustable in length. at the back of the necklace, there is a touch of a rare heart-shaped pearl sourced from a vintage shop. his wife loves hearts, remember? i call this piece “i heart u”, because that’s exactly what this necklace conveys.

    9. You should keep on doing lots of other gifts too. U really got a natural flair for design, u know. I just hate to go looking for gifts for my wife and daughter.     "only in fairy tales..." is version 11 of sparklette.net. the castle featured is the surreal schloss neuschwanstein, situated in germany. in this fairy tale theme, i tried making the layout look as dreamy as possible with the use of my favorite lilac and lavender hues.
