i’ve been very busy with work recently, which explains why the updates have been less than frequent. sorry! nonetheless, i did spare a little time making a couple of necklaces and bracelets.

this is a single layered charm necklace with a large ornate silver key as its centerpiece. i love the way it is studded with diamantes and its top is in the shape of a crown! but the main star of this necklace isn’t the pretty silver key, but the gold cherub by its side. i even dangled a couple of lucky stars in his hands so it looks like he’s blessing the wearer with stars!

of course, a pure white heart and some purple and pink swarovski pearls have a part to play too. i call this piece “blessed” and it sells for $40.

my second piece of jewelry is a simpler charm necklace, but it took me forever just to make the pendant alone! see, it’s actually made out of two separate charms — a silver exquisite crown and a gold heart-shaped locket. i tried several different ways to put the two together so that the crown would sit nicely on top of the locket. with a lot of plier work and plenty of patience i eventually got it done!

this necklace rests just below the collar bone. i had initially intended this to be a double or tri-layer piece, but then decided that it looks better on its own. the chain used is a rare find that consists of alternate big and small rings connected together. i call this piece “crown of glory” and it sells for $40.

finally, more bracelets! this is a pair of layered bracelets for couples. both bracelets have a similar cute kissing couple brass charm. the he-bracelet on the left is made up of a shiny black chain and thick silver chain, with a blue diamante stud. i tried to keep this a simple piece.

the she-bracelet is slightly more colorful and complicated. instead of two it’s made up of three chains — a similar shiny black chain, a fine silver chain and a fine gold chain. like the he-bracelet, she has a matching diamante stud as well, but in royal red. it even comes with a silver puffed heart!
the gold chain also has swarovski pearls in different purple and pink hues placed at varying intervals to add a dash of color and sweetness. this pair of couple bracelets is called “young love” and sells for $80.
