Tiong Bahru Plaza took away the outdoor seating area of Teh Tarik Cartel. What a sin!

I tend to focus on writing about eating establishments or events in Singapore, because these are the things that interest me the most and sometimes I stumble across something that a lot of people out there may not know of. I am a big fan of teh tarik ever since I moved to Singapore four years ago, but I haven’t been able to find a place where it caters well to that beverage. It is also nice to know this place is somewhat near where I live. Thanks for the recommendation.

By the way, I am a first time commentor, even though I have visited your site numerous times. Great design, and I love how you cater all your posts to promoting Singapore. Se: Thanks! I do know of a few great places that ladies would love to hang out at, but alas, no buffet! If you aren’t too particular about having a buffet, here are a few places with great ambience and decent food:

- The Cookie Museum (formerly known as The V Tea Room)
- Royal Copenhagen Tea Lounge
- Tea Cosy @ Eclectic Attic
- Max Brenner (a little noisy at times though)
