Cellulite. The mere word makes our skin crawl. I am very petite and despite my small frame, I still see unsightly “orange peel” skin when I look down at my thighs. If you are like me and have cellulite too, you have been fighting the battle for way too long. Sure, shelves are lined with products formulated to help smoothen the skin and get rid of cellulite, but which ones really do the trick? Elancyl Slim Design may be one of the best products to help us ditch cellulite for good.

Slim Design is the product of 10 years of research by the French company. It contains caffeine complex, a nice combination of cellulite-fighting ingredients: ivy, caffeine and salacia. The trio have three main functions: slow down thickening of the connective tissue fibres, reduce excess collagen and fibronectin and reduce the molecules that cause fibrosis, all of which act at the heart of the cellulite structure to minimise the appearance of orange peel.

I have been using Slim Design after every morning shower for the past week, applying it to both thighs, the bottom and the hips. The formula strikes me as being very light in consistency, which I like as it blends in pretty easily and dries quickly. The colour is a light beige shade.

The formula is easy to apply, creamy, and smells pleasant. I love how soft and supple the skin feels after each application, and notice a slight tingling sensation. After the first week of use I can already see the results. My skin appears smoother, firmer and more luminous. With prolonged use I am definitely expecting to see slimming results and tauter skin!
