Christmas Tree of the Day #10 (2008 Edition)

Today’s Christmas Tree of the Day was spotted at the newly opened West Coast Plaza, formerly known as Ginza plaza. The tree is all decked out in cool blue, including its star on top.

The shiny baubles in yellow, lime, dark blue, cyan and purple are a perfect match with the blue tree. I really dig the whole color combination, especially with the purple!

I think the mall has done a very good job with its Christmas decor. At almost every turn you would see something different. These Christmas wreaths look gorgeous against that lavender silk backdrop!

There are a couple more Christmas trees in blue, and a gold reindeer structure at the center.

That first pic is quite amazing, its such a beautiful array of color although the star at the top looks like a bunch of bowling pins stuck together. I think the usual stand illuminated star would’ve been much better but overall its one eye catching feature indeed.

  Now that you’ve mentioned it, the star on top DOES look like bowling pins! I think they really wanted to keep it blue and that’s how it ended up. Would be great to see how it looks with a beautiful and less “stick-like” star.

I’m totally enjoying this Christmas tree series! We have been missing a blue tree until now and this one is so perfect. I think I know why you like the purpleness. It’s just like your blog!

  You got me! The lavender silk in particular is a perfect shade of purple that’s very much like this blog! But of course it’s the blueness that really makes this tree stand out.

  The tall and beautiful Tampines Mall tree has already been hunted down by Sparklette haha… But alas, there are only two more slots to go in this series and they’ve been taken up! I’ll try to see if there’s a way to squeeze in one more :)

I love this one the most, how beautiful. I would love to travel to all the places you have. Your so young and you seem to have traveled alot. Thats a really great thing. I really enjoy your site.
