At the Harbourfront Centre restaurant, an all you can eat dim sum buffet is served daily. The price is right, the selection is large, and you are free to order as much food as you can finish.
Weekdays: Adult S$16.80++; Child S$12.80++
Weekend: Adult S$20.80; Child S$12.80
A minimum party of four adults is required to book the buffet, which makes it an ideal feast to be shared among family and friends.
The dim sum is divided into two primary categories: steamed and fried.
The steamed varieties include the ubiquitous siew mai, xiao long bao, char siew bao and yam paste buns as well as traditional items like chicken claws.
The xiao long bao in particular is a delight to savour, with flavourful meat in a pouch-ful of soup.
The fried dim sum comprise several crowd favourites like cuttlefish balls, man tou with chicken floss, you tiao with salad cream and custard buns.
A personal recommendation is the deep fried fish fillet that comes drizzled in sweet and sour sauce.
If the dim sum isn’t enough to fill the stomach, you can help yourselves to the century egg congee, Yang Zhou fried rice, fried noodles and deep fried chicken wings.
