This week, forming the middle of my three-parter review of folgers gourmet selections, I would be introducing lively colombian.

In a stark contrast to morning café, lively colombian has a much fuller body and provides more oomph to seasoned coffee drinkers.

The first thing that hits you though, is its enveloping aroma. A very deep, intense and resonant aroma with a lovely sweet tone. There are suggestions of chocolate and cinnamon as well.

This coffee is rather mellow and I didn’t detect much of an acidic taste. The flavor and body overall suits me just fine. I like it especially in the afternoon. Best taken black.
