If you’ve read our review of the Goodwood Park Durian Fiesta 2012 and it got you salivating, you will be ecstatic to hear about the Goodwood Park durian buffet.
From 26 May to 31 July 2012, six durian delights in addition to the regular dessert buffet are available at Goodwood Park Hotel‘s Coffee Lounge for lunch and dinner. The dessert and durian buffet is priced as such:
- S$32.80++ per person
- S$26.80++ per person (with any a la carte main course order)
The spread includes the all-time favourite durian puff that will leave you wanting more. These bite-sized morsels come with light choux pastry cases that sandwich a generous amount of durian mousse.
The legendary durian mousse cake is light and not too sweet. Sink your fork into the spongy and velvety cake and your taste buds will be transported to heaven!
The durian cappuccino cake will satisfy coffee enthusiasts. Neat layers of rich cappuccino mousse, D24 durian mousse and chocolate sponge are concealed within the vanilla sponge crumbs.
Glutinous rice rolled into balls, topped with lip-smacking durian pengat, you can ladle on as much gula melaka as the sweet tooth in you desires. This new creation is available exclusively at the durian buffet.
These mini crunchy cones filled with luscious pulpy durian mousse have to be one of my favourite items in the buffet spread! You can afford to eat a dozen of these tiny treats.
The durian pancake is a highlight from the live cooking stations. When freshly made, the pancake is thin and crisp.
Other desserts in the buffet include delectable cakes, hot and chilled local desserts, ice cream and more.
