Check out the highly unusual Christmas tree at The Central (Clarke Quay) — it’s pretty in pink and comes with tinges of deep purple too!

The mall has a knack for displaying Christmas trees that look out of the norm. One Christmas, they had a remarkable tree made out of golden balls! But my vote goes out to this year’s tree, which coincidentally sports golden balls too, but made from fabric instead.

3 cheers for the pink! Very nice of Central to put one up for us girlies :P All the more since Cathay didn’t put up their bright pink tree this year. Think the tree would look more elegant without the weird balls though.

  I think you are right! The pinks and the purples and the white beads are pretty good on their own, plus the gold star at the top. I loved Cathay’s pink tree! But they did have it up for the past two consecutive years. I’m not surprised they didn’t have it for this year.
