Sapore Italiano – Welcome to Gourmet Paradise
Color me impressed. The Sapore Italiano caffé-bar has opened on our island with style. Whether it’s espresso coffee in the morning, a pizza for lunch, or a nice after-work aperitivo (with a free buffet spread!), you can enjoy gourmet food all day long. Welcome to gourmet paradise! With over 20 outlets worldwide, their goal is to spread Italian culture and provide diners with a true Italian experience. There are specially imported Italian beverages and authentic Italian food. Pasta Inc – A Taste of Italy
I’m going to try not to use words like “whoopee!” and “yowza!” to describe how I feel after a sumptuous meal of gourmet food at Pasta Inc. Ricciotti Italian Deli & Pastry – Decadent Desserts
I don’t blog about desserts as often as I’d like. And that’s really because I rarely have any. After a sumptuous main course I find that there’s barely any room for dessert! Ambush – Fuss-free and Good Italian Food
One of my favorite places for pasta is ambush. It is tucked within the gourmet section of the takashimaya basement food court. Not only are the pastas affordable, they are super yummy too. In particular the seafood dishes, which I have a soft spot for.I usually call this the Japanese pasta place because the menu consists of several Japanese-inspired dishes. Dining here is pretty much fuss-free. You queue up for your order while the waiter(ess) finds you a table. There is no service charge. Recently... Read more →

Da Paolo at Rochester Park – Bar & Bites
Having had such a wonderful and memorable Christmas dining experience at graze, I returned there on a different occasion barely a couple weeks later. Unfortunately it doesn’t open for lunch so da paolo, its adjacent neighbor at Rochester Park, played host to us instead.Comparing Rochester Park in daytime and nighttime, I have to say that there is a stark contrast. In the day, this place seemed almost lifeless with few customers, if any, even during lunch hours. The alfresco dining areas at... Read more →
