my favorite browser mozilla firefox is launching its version 3 on june 17, firefox download day 2008. when you download firefox 3 on the day itself, you’ll be helping to set a guinness world record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours. i have pledged to do so. have you?
firefox is the ideal browser for surfing sparklette.net. as a web designer, it is always a pain to develop websites catering to internet explorer, due to the browser’s erratic way of rendering certain codes and styles. i made my transition to firefox a few years ago and haven’t looked back since.
one peeve that i do have with firefox 2 is that the browser takes up a large amount of memory. starting it up or shutting it down takes up a few more seconds than i would have liked.
so i’m very happy that the problem has been resolved in firefox 3 release candidate a test drive). in addition, there is also an array of new features.
come june 17, i would be downloading firefox 3. check out the people from all over the world that have made a similar pledge. (the interactive world map is particularly cool. i have to zoom in all the way to spot singapore!)
embrace firefox! make the switch and enjoy a better web! browse happy!

U bet. I’m running the Release Candidate right now. :)
I’m already using the RC2, which is stable enough for general use, and strongly recommend that savvy users install it for their friends whom are currently still using Internet Explorer. The difference in experience will blow them away!
I would so love it if EVERYONE used Firefox. It would enhance browsing experience and security for all, and save me so much headache when developing websites. Win-win!
Well, the folks at Mozilla seem to be running a lil’ late in the launch, aren’t they?
firefox’s website is down.
It’s up now. As I’m typing this, I’m waiting for my download to finish at the same time.
Woot!
First off Firefox browser has completely blown away the Internet Explorer..I can help the Founders of Firefox create something even faster. In 2010 the Internet explorer will no longer be around. Have Blake Ross contact me at the e-mail address above………
