    he’s insanely adorable. I would luv to get a knut bear too. hehe.. i wonder how much it’ll cost.

    baby stage will always be the cutest. but i’ll be looking forward to seeing how magnificent he’ll grow into.

    I love polar bears too. Just that too bad, with global warming and all, their natural habitat is drastically reduced.

    Never thought I would say this but it’s really insanely adorable and I was smiling throughout the video. That Thomas dude indeed has the best job in the world… Can’t wait for a few more years before this little cute thing grows into a magnificent beast.

    oh dear. Knut is one cute chap indeed!
    I love the way Knut sticks out his short tongue and also the way he stretches out his arm repeatly to the camera …

    And the song in that youtube video is not irritating. It does reminds me of another german kid song, Schnappi the Crocodil.

    To answer your question, Knut is referred to an “ice bear” instead of polar bear because “ice bear” is the direct translation from German- Eisbaer.
