The pasta picture also appeals to me most! It looks cheap and good. Well I’m sure you have many cheap eats near your place too.

i grew up at north bridge road. you can’t miss out these.
1) Ah Balling Peanut Soup (Upper level #75)
the peanut cooked till it’s so soft. and the ah balling still hand-made.
2) Hainan Hokkien Mee (Lower level: Stall 34)
hokkien mee fried with thin bee hoon, drier than most. full of flavour and with a decent chilli.
3) Sop Tulang (Lower level)
once in a long while type of indulgence.

Thanks for the recommendations! Wow, looks like Golden Mile is filled with dozens of good eats. I have tried the Ah Balling stall at Chinatown food street a few times before. Is it from the same chain as the one at Golden Mile?

I love the Beef Kway Teow, everytime I went to ICA I usually took it there.

Great recommendations, some of which I may check out. Other than these and the Hokkien Mee stall at the basement floor, there is also the chilli noodles at level 2, and the ah balling soup. A pity that the Belgian chocolate waffle stall closed as that has also been a usual favourite of ours.

Thanks! I’ve got friends who are regular customers at that chilli/prawn noodle stall too. Yea, heard about that chocolate waffle stall before – would have loved to feature that if it were still around.
