Got me these Minnie Mouse ears! (and now I have no use for them anymore. Any takers?)
The big Thunder Mountain was a wild ride on a runaway mine train through the mountains! Because the place was so crowded, every single ride we went to, the queue time was at least 40 minutes!
The queue for this mountain ride was so long, we had to get a Fastpass. With our Fastpass, we could come back at the designated time printed on our ticket and take the ride without having to queue (for too long).
There is a certain length of time during which everyone is only allowed to hold one Fastpass. The machines dispensing these Fastpasses are smart enough to tell if you’re trying to get hold of a second Fastpass before the allowed time. We had no choice but to queue for the Haunted Mansion.
The haunted ride took us through a long tunnel (it was an underground ride I think). It wasn’t that scary since this was after all a kids-friendly place; we ended up scaring ourselves more! What impressed me about the ride was when we saw translucent spirits floating about. They were probably done using holograms and the effect was pretty darn real!
A steam train runs round the Adventureland and Westernland. People would wave back at you when you wave at them.

I liked the post. I’d keep those ears if I were you. One day your husband may want you to wear them.

Ever since I went to DL in HK, I told myself I really have to go to the one either in Orlando or Tokyo. I’m usually not into these kawaii or cartoony stuffs but once i was there, I went craaazzy!! Every single thing was cute! Of course, I won’t recommend HK, its sooo small and full of “rude people”. But it just fuel my interest for the other bigger and better DL!

Wow, nice! The train handles are so kawaii! I’ve been to Disneyworld in FL(USA), and I have to say the one in Japan is comparable, if not better!
The Japanese are experts at making things cute.

Joyz: Hey, I thought Disneyland would be the same all over the world! I didn’t notice any rude people In Tokyo Disneyland at all. They were all very professional and full of hype!
chillycraps: Thanks! I thought guys wouldn’t be too interested in Disneyland haha :)
Ken: You’re right. They are experts in making things look cute or beautiful. Heck, even the people themselves look cute or beautiful!

haha, their staff are all ok. i’m referring to some of the customers from the neighbouring country (sorry, no offence to anyone)…but they kinda spoilt my experience with the constant pushing and cutting queues…

fabianfan: Wow you are a real Disney(land) fan! We passed by DisneySea but didn’t have the time to go in there too; Disneyland already took up the entire day! Next time I’m in Tokyo I’ll be there!
Joyz: Heehee I get what you mean! At Tokyo Disneyland, everyone was very orderly. There was no queue jumping at all. The Japanese are a really polite bunch!
hucks: Nope! I was nearby though.
Daphne Maia: Haha okay okay! Day 3 is up!
marie: Yeah I enjoyed Japan very much. Looking forward to going there again!
Miccheng: You said it right. It was brutal. It made the hot afternoons in Singapore seem really cool in comparison!
Mag: Working hard to keep to my one post/day promise. Stay tuned!
