McDonald’s Hello Kitty madness will hit Singapore again.
To celebrate the feline’s 40th anniversary, the fast food chain is rolling out a series of plush toys, entitled Hello Kitty Bubbly World. This new collection will be launched in Singapore on April 28.
This time round, the iconic cat will be bubble-shaped and dressed in the costumes of the most popular characters from Sanrio, such as My Melody, Tuxedosam and Kerokerokeroppi. Each toy will be housed in its own individual box.
Here’s a first look at the 6 Hello Kitty toys in the series.

To avoid the dramatic queues and chaos that ensued over previous Hello Kitty toy launches, McDonald’s is making an online purchasing system available for the first time. Fans can purchase a special collector’s set comprising all six Hello Kitty Bubbly World plush toys and McDonald’s food vouchers for S$80 online on April 23.
For those willing to queue at its restaurants, the new plush toys will be available at McDonald’s outlets on April 28 from 11am onwards, priced at S$4.95 each with the purchase of an Extra Value Meal.
The last time McDonald’s released Hello Kitty toys, it was for the Circus of Life series in Hong Kong.
