Couples who would love to enjoy some private time together can escape to the Couple’s Floor at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Singapore. Specifically designed for couples, the adults-only 11th floor is a relaxed cocoon for lovers. All rooms on this floor contain special romantic touches.
My partner and I got to check in to the Deluxe room on the Couple’s Floor over one weekend. When we first stepped into the room, our first impression was how beautifully furnished it was – perfect for a romantic weekend staycation!
The cosy bed is filled with multiple fluffy throw pillows and crisp sheets.
A pot of freshly brewed TWG Tea is presented on the wooden table, along with fruit skewers (with chocolate dips!) and a personalised welcome note – a nice touch!
Throughout the room you will find further small touches of detail, such as an ornate jewellery box for the ladies to store their knick-knacks, candy jars filled with M&M’s chocolates, Jelly Belly jelly beans, marshmallows and cookies.
To add to the romantic mood, you can make full use of the romantic DVDs and CDs and even a “Love Box” filled with 101 activities that couples can enjoy together.
In-room internet access is available for free if you need to get online on your laptops, tablets and smartphones.
The bathroom is large, clean and beautifully adorned with huge mirrors, marbled flooring and two wash basins – no fighting over who gets to use it first!
Dip into the bath with candles to set the mood.
Soothing L’Occitane bath amenities stir the senses. These are the best stuff!
For night owls that would like to pop by town for a late night movie or supper, Four Seasons Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Orchard Road. Here’s the view of the surrounding area from our room.
At the 11th floor lift landing, you will find platters of small fruits, canapés and sweets replenished at three different times of the day. We’re not sure what times these are, and can only say that you will get them if you are lucky!
Gym rats can head to the fitness centre for a quick workout.
The swimming pool at the rooftop is especially popular with the hotel stayers.
There’s a jacuzzi here too.
If you would like to avoid the crowd, there’s another swimming pool and jacuzzi down the building which is quieter.
Our room includes a daily buffet breakfast at the One-Ninety Restaurant for two adults. The usual price is S$45++ per adult, and S$28++ for children ages 5-11.
The breakfast spread is a lavish affair of international fares. No complaints here! We even spotted a couple of Singapore politicians having a quiet discussion here over breakfast. Wonder what they might be murmuring about?
This enjoyable stay at the Four Seasons Hotel was just what my partner and I needed. If you are looking for a way to surprise your sweetheart, celebrate Valentine’s Day in Singapore or just need some time away from the kids, this is the place to be.
As is common in the travel industry, we were provided with complimentary accommodation for the purpose of reviewing the service. Hi JR, I find that the room rates differ from day to day and between room types, so it’s impossible for me to list them all down here. Therefore I linked to the booking site above where you can conveniently check and compare room rates for your preferred dates.
