What really impresses is how beautifully everything is presented. From the sandwich with bak kwa (chicken instead of pork jerky) to the chocolate-dipped strawberries (sprinkled with chocolate rice), every morsel simply looks so dainty! As a chocolate fan, my favourite is easily the little chocolate mousse cake. Rich and velvety smooth chocolate. Yum!

The canapé comprises a plump juicy prawn, a slice of sweet mango, tomato and lettuce. Very colourful and totally yummy!
The prettiest of them all has to be pink rose-scented macaron, with strawberry slices doused in whipped cream. Ooh la la!
If you love desserts, you definitely want to check this out. Better still, bring along a friend or a partner. Everything in the set, except for the drink, comes in twos. Perfect for sharing!

Hehe how can I resist such pretty food? lol yeah I noticed the placement only after I got home and looked at the photos. I wonder if the dessert chef has a copy of the flyer in the kitchen for reference!

They all look absolutely wonderful but my favorite is the canapé. Mango, tomato, lettuce, and prawn. All so perfect, that surely I’d have a hard time poking a fork through them.
And the dish is oh so colourful. Perhaps, the entire spectrum of the rainbow.

You’re right! The whole combination is very attractive and filled with delicious colours. The canapé, by itself, is a refreshing change from the mostly sweet treats on the platter. I think the gorgeous presentation, plus the fact that you get a range of different goodies is what makes the set so appealing.

OOOHHHH it’s all so pretty! Not to nitpick but it seems only one macaroon has the strawberry. Otherwise everything seems perfect!

He he I noticed that, too, although it’s not really that big a deal for me as I don’t like eating the strawberry fruit in the first place. Strawberry mousse and ice cream are fine though.
